About My Gym Palo Alto

My Gym Palo Alto is a children's fitness center at 2655 Middlefield Road in Midtown. It is a local branch of My Gym, a national franchise that says it has served families for more than 40 years. The gym runs structured classes for babies, toddlers and school-age kids, plus free play sessions, holiday camps, evening drop-off events and birthday parties. The phone number is 650-330-1760 and the location page also offers a text option.

The company frames its curriculum around four areas of development, including cognitive development and physical growth. In practice that means songs, games, tumbling, rides and obstacle courses scaled to each age group. Its family policies are simple: no membership fees, enrollment you can start and stop and no long-term contracts.

Classes by age

The Palo Alto schedule lists classes seven days a week, with the earliest weekend sessions at 8:30 a.m. The main programs are:

  • Tiny Tykes, 3 to 12 months, for babies who are not yet walking
  • Waddlers, 13 to 20 months
  • Gymsters, 22 months to 2 and a half years
  • Terrific Tots, 2 and a half to 3 and a half years
  • Siblings and Friends, 6 months to almost 6 years, a mixed-age class that siblings can take together
  • Preschool Gymnastics and Ninja Jr., 3 and a half to 5 years
  • Gymnastics and Ninja Training for children 5 to 10
  • Practice and Play, parent-supervised free play from 6 months to 12 years

The youngest classes are parent and child. From Preschool Gymnastics up, children join the teacher on the gym floor while parents watch from the lobby or drop off. The schedule page lists exact days and times for each class. Times shift by season, so check it before you plan a week.

Trying it out

New families can book a one-week guest experience. It includes one structured class matched to the child's age and unlimited Practice and Play sessions for that week. You pick your child's age on the location page to see matching classes. After the trial, enrollment runs on a recurring basis that you can pause or stop without a contract. Current pricing is on the schedules page.

Camps and Parents' Night Out

When school is out, the gym runs drop-off camps with pay-by-day options. Camp days mix games, gymnastics, arts and crafts, Ninja training and music. Upcoming dates listed for late 2026 are:

  • Veterans Day Camp on November 11, 2026, ages 2 to 10
  • Thanksgiving Parent Shopping Day, November 24 to 27, 2026, ages 2 to 10
  • Winter Camp, December 21 to 23, 2026, ages 1 year 11 months to 10

Parents' Night Out is an evening drop-off event for ages 2 to 13, listed on dates from October 30 to December 18, 2026. The events page warns that these fill quickly. Our school break camps guide lists other options around town.

Birthday parties

Birthday parties are a big part of the business. The gym hosts parties from a first birthday up to a 13th. Each party runs an hour and a half of structured games, music and activities led by staff, with set up and clean up handled for you. The Space Flight zip-line ride and the Birthday March feature at every party. Packages differ by guest count and inclusions. The parties page lists what each one covers. For more ideas, see our birthday party guide.

Who it suits

My Gym suits families with babies and toddlers who want a structured weekly outing with songs, movement and other kids. Parents who like to join in will enjoy the younger classes most. Older kids who enjoy climbing and obstacle courses fit the Ninja classes. Because there is no contract, it also works for families who are in town for a season or want to try a class for a few months before school starts.
