Delta Hotels Santa Clara Silicon Valley is a Marriott hotel on Laurelwood Road, just north of Highway 101 at the eastern edge of Santa Clara. Delta is Marriott's brand for practical, full-service hotels without much fuss. This one has an outdoor pool, a lounge restaurant, a 24-hour gym and one of the most generous pet policies in the area. San Jose airport is under 3 miles away and Levi's Stadium and the Santa Clara Convention Center are a short drive. At about 12 miles from downtown Palo Alto, it sits at the far edge of our coverage. It works for early flights out of SJC, stadium events or a trip split between Santa Clara and Stanford.
This profile is based on Marriott's official page for the hotel, checked on November 3, 2026. We do not publish star ratings or reviews. Fees are what Marriott listed that day and can change. For live rates, check Delta Hotels Santa Clara on Booking.com or book with Marriott.

Road estimates are ours. Highway 101 is the direct route to Palo Alto and it is badly congested at weekday peaks, when the trip can take an hour. Express lanes help with FasTrak. Our express lanes guide explains the tolls and carpool discounts.
Transit
Marriott lists VTA bus routes 59 and 60, the VTA North First Street light rail and Caltrain's Santa Clara station as the nearest transit. For Palo Alto, the most direct train is Caltrain from the Lawrence or Santa Clara stations, both a short rideshare away. Northbound trains reach Palo Alto in roughly 15 to 25 minutes depending on the station and the train. Check the fare zone before you buy. Our Caltrain guide covers tickets and timetables.
Route 60 runs between Milpitas BART and Winchester station by way of San Jose airport, which makes a cheap airport trip possible if you travel light. The hotel does not run a shuttle. For airport tips, see our San Jose airport guide.

Dining on site
Lucas Lounge is the hotel's restaurant and bar. Marriott lists breakfast in the mornings, lunch Monday through Thursday and full bar and restaurant service every day. A grab-and-go market sells Starbucks coffee, snacks, drinks and quick meals. Marriott does not post hours or say whether breakfast is included, so ask when you book.
Food nearby
Santa Clara Square on Augustine Drive is under a mile away. These places were confirmed open in our Santa Clara food guide on November 2, 2026:
- Bafang Dumpling at 2702 Augustine Drive, Suite 110.
- Puesto at 2752 Augustine Drive, tacos and margaritas with a patio.
- Jak's at 3333 Coronado Place, modern Indian food.
Lucas Lounge is the easy choice after a late arrival, but its lunch service runs only Monday through Thursday. On a Friday or weekend afternoon, Santa Clara Square is the closest place for a meal.
For a bigger night out, downtown San Jose and San Pedro Square are about 15 minutes south. Westfield Valley Fair on Stevens Creek Boulevard has Eataly, Ramen Nagi and Korean barbecue at Baekjeong.
Who Delta Hotels Santa Clara suits
- Travelers with early flights from San Jose airport.
- Owners of large dogs, since the 90-pound limit is higher than at most hotels near Palo Alto.
- Stadium and convention visitors who want lower rates than the hotels next to Levi's.
- Bonvoy elites who value the club lounge.
On a Levi's event day, the hotel's location southeast of the stadium is handy. You avoid the parking lots and can reach your room before the post-game traffic clears. Leave extra time in the morning after a big event, since Highway 101 can stay busy.
It is a poor fit if most of your time is in Palo Alto or at Stanford. The drive back and forth adds up. For something closer to the stadium with more dining, see the Santa Clara Marriott. More options for dogs are in our pet-friendly hotels guide.
Booking tips
- Mind the 4 p.m. check-in. Ask the front desk to hold bags if you land early.
- Request a ground floor room for pets. The hotel places pets on the first floor when it can, so mention your dog at booking.
- Check stadium dates. Rates rise across north Santa Clara on Levi's event nights.
- Add parking to the price. At $25 a day as listed, a long stay adds up.
- Compare prices. You can compare Santa Clara hotels on Hotels.com for your dates.
