About Apple University Avenue
Apple runs two stores in Palo Alto. This is the downtown one, which Apple's website calls Apple Palo Alto; we call it Apple University Avenue to keep it apart from the Apple store at Stanford Shopping Center. Both are Apple's own stores, not resellers. This one keeps the longer hours of the two, closing at 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday against 7 p.m. at Stanford Shopping Center; Sunday hours are the same at both. Apple's page flags special hours on some days, such as an 8 a.m. opening on one Friday in October 2026.
