About Peserico

Peserico is an Italian fashion house with a boutique at Stanford Shopping Center. The brand's boutique locator lists the Palo Alto store at 660 Stanford Shopping Center, Suite R153, with the phone number 650-485-4886. It is one of several Peserico stores in the United States. Others on the list include boutiques in Charleston, Naples, Hackensack and the Boston area.

The company describes its mission as the essence of Italian style, expressed through handmade manufacturing of the highest quality, with the aim of creating the perfect wardrobe for every woman since 1962. Peserico was founded by Giuseppe Peruffo and Maria Peserico. Their son, Riccardo Peruffo, is now chief executive and creative director. He leads the collections with his wife, Paola Gonella, the brand's creative director. The company calls them the second generation at the helm.

The family behind the brand

Riccardo Peruffo was born in 1974 in Valdagno, a town in the Vicenza area with a centuries-old wool industry. The company says he grew up around the family's garment workshop as it became a modern business. There, it says, he learned an early respect for work done well. Alongside the design work, he sets the company's strategy for growth in international markets. Paola Gonella shapes the look of the brand, from the collections to the boutique design, advertising campaigns and fashion shows. The company says her background in the arts and her love of nature and interior design feed into each season's ideas.

How the clothes are made

Peserico puts a lot of weight on making its clothes in Italy. Its philosophy page says the work stays in Italy at every stage, from design and the search for materials to the tailoring that shapes the fit. The company lays out its production network this way:

• Cornedo Vicentino: the headquarters near Vicenza, where more than 100 professionals work on the collections.
• Novi, near Modena: the company's own workshop for knitwear.
• Puglia: workshops that handle embroidery and handmade details.
• Riviera del Brenta: the district that makes its footwear and leather accessories.

In 2023 Peserico added a workshop in the Vicenza area for lighter garments such as skirts, shirts and dresses. The company says this brought even more of its production in-house.

What the boutique sells

The brand's women's range covers outerwear, knitwear, blazers, trousers, denim, shirts and blouses, suits and sets, skirts, dresses, tops and sweatshirts. It also sells shoes, accessories, jewelry and fragrances, plus a bag line called Itinera. Trousers are a large category on the website, with styles such as palazzo trousers. Peserico makes a men's collection too.

The collections follow a seasonal runway calendar. Recent shows include fall and winter 2026, titled "Osservatori dell'infinito" (Observers of the Infinite). The spring and summer 2027 show is, titled "Tessuti di parole." The brand's style is described by the company as contemporary elegance and understated luxury. A boutique carries a selection of each season, so not every runway piece will be in Palo Alto.

The website also groups pieces into edits such as travel style, party looks and gift selections. Those edits are a quick way to see how the brand pairs its knitwear, trousers and jackets before you visit. The US site offers free size exchanges on online orders, which helps if you buy online after trying a size in the store.

Visiting the boutique

Peserico's locator does not post hours for the Palo Alto store. Most Stanford Shopping Center stores follow the center's regular hours, but call 650-485-4886 to confirm, especially on holidays. If you are looking for a particular size or piece from the website, ask the boutique to check before you come. Tailored trousers and jackets reward a proper fitting, so plan enough time to try on several sizes.
